SHRIMAD RAJCHANDRA LOVE AND CARE
We are honoured and humbled to be associated with one of India’s prominent Non Profit Organisations, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.
SRLC was awarded ‘NGO of the Year’ at the India International CSR Conclave and Awards 2017. The Animal Care programme of the NGO has saved, relocated and rehabilitated more than 71,000 animals to date. It has been able to save 62,500 animals from slaughter, provided 2500+ cows for cattle and medically treated 1000+ animals.
The organisation primarily aims to inculcate love and care in the hearts of people and creates an inspiring model for everyone to follow and look up to.
Managed by a motivated and compassionate team of volunteers, the organization saves animals, especially cows and bulls, from the slaughterhouses and relocates them in shelter homes or rehabilitates them as cattle for farmers, giving them a new and safe home.
The NGO also works towards the first aid and medical treatment of stray and relocated animals.
Our relationship with them is intended towards saving as many cows, sheep and goats as possible, being the animals predominantly killed for their skin.
We hope that together with your help, we can make the world a cruelty free place!
PETA India, based in Mumbai, was launched in January 2000. PETA India operates under the simple principle that animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on or use for entertainment, while educating policymakers and the public about animal abuse and promoting an understanding of the right of all animals to be treated with respect.
PETA India focuses primarily on the areas in which the greatest numbers of animals suffer the most: in the food and leather industries, in laboratories and in the entertainment industry. PETA India’s investigative work, public education efforts, research, animal rescues, legislative work, special events, celebrity involvement and national media coverage have resulted in countless improvements to the quality of life for animals and have saved countless animals’ lives.
Together, we can make the world a better place for all beings and with this principal PETA India is constantly working to help animals who are suffering and dying in vivisection laboratories, on factory farms, in zoos and circuses and in the leather and fur industries.
